Residential Outcomes Framework

I played a key role in developing the Residential Outcomes Framework (ROF) for Tauranga City Council, providing clear guidance on urban design outcomes for multi-unit residential development. The framework emphasised aligning urban design outcomes with provisions in the City Plan and included a detailed ‘outcomes and guidelines’ section with eight urban design topics, supported by illustrated and written guidelines. I collaborated closely with TCC planners through weekly meetings, ensuring the ROF and City Plan were seamlessly integrated, enhancing both documents’ effectiveness and clarity. I was also involved in the preparation of urban design guidelines for Waikato District Council in 2017. This included the preparation of Subdivision, Multi-Unit Residential and Town Centre urban design guidelines.
