Pukekohe Security Review

The purpose of this report was to provide the Pukekohe Business Association (PBA) with a summary of safety issues within the business area and strategies for improved safety. The report built upon an initial desktop review of background safety information. Meetings with the Pukekohe Business Association, local police and Community Patrol New Zealand (CPNZ) representatives were then undertaken. This initial information gathering phase was followed by site walkovers (day and night), identification of key issues and recommended design responses. The recommended interventions looked at both targeted and overarching CPTED issues, with both short- and long-term strategies and solutions.
