Kitimat LNG Canada Worker Village

AECOM, 2013-2014
As project lead, I developed a conceptual masterplan for a 4,500+ worker accommodation village in Kitimat, British Columbia, supporting the construction of a new LNG facility to connect Canada’s natural gas resources with global demand. This involved site analysis, benchmarking, design principles, and masterplan options for two sites, culminating in a finalised masterplan. Adhering to Shell’s HSSE standards and Global Worker Welfare Accommodation Guidelines, the project ensured the design of a safe and sustainable living environment for future residents.
Following completion of the masterplan, I continued to work with LNG Canada as the project moved towards detailed design. The LNG Canada site in Kitimat has nearly finished construction and is projected to soon be operational.
